Yeah I agree, some songs are almost impossible to decipher, and pretty much with those lines you'll hear whatever you want to hear. I think I finally hear the real lyrics, thanks to you for fixing my original flaws. It should go: You're gonna like it when you leave your house You're gonna like it when you're in a town*, that you love. Like one I live in (3x). With 'You're gonna like it' being interchangeable with 'Do you like it' because I honestly can't tell which it is. |

I listened to it a few times closely, I'm 99% sure this is what the lyrics are. Only one that's iffy is when he says Timer, but I'm pretty sure he says saying "timer, slowdown". Talking about his life. And I don't think he says "of my life", that part is him saying Another, it just sounds weird. Hope this helps out the next person coming here to look for these lyrics :D Toro y Moi is great, and this some is one of my favorites by him, if not my favorite. When can we get together again? To reply to Lally123, I'm fairly sure she means present as in the present moment, not present as in a gift or child. Which is a pretty cool, noticing each moment becoming the present. As for my own interpretation, the thing she cannot tell is that she's alive. She doesn't know how to explain life & feeling. No answer to the great questions of why we're here and such.. But he says you know it's good though, cause it's running you with red (blood) as kinda of like a symbol for life. (I forgot what those type of symbolisms are called v_v) So I'm taking it as he's pointing out.. we [her] might not know how to explain life, but it's in our veins.. we have the answer in us, we just don't know how to explain it. |
