The song is about how his Maynard's mother was dying of cancer, but she still kept praying. Maynard didn't understand why she never gave up hope. So I guess he believed that she was blinded by faith. "Praise the one who left you broken down and paralyzed" This line seems to solidify what I think it means, but what I think and what is fact isn't always right. |
