the version i have on CD sounds like the vocals are very muted during the verses but not during the chorus.
I also have an acoustic version which sounds normal. I looked up the song on youtube and there too the verses have muted vocals. Weird? |

Shawn Colvin has done a very soulful cover version of this song. I love the Beatles version but Shawn Colvin's version kind of puts more feeling into the song. |

people only listen to "more than words" and then think "oooh.. sappy love song band..." ; too bad that More than Words is their most popular song. I LOVE their other songs especially this one and "Am I ever gonna change" for which I've just submitted the lyrics. |
