Oracles are people who can see the future. to increase the meaning the city of Delphi in greece was where the oracle used to reside. They're definitely spelling out his future in a very cryptic manner. Crimson hands? sound anything like "you can't be caught red handed if you're not red handed"? Big steam ship? well i think vital vessel vindicates is about him leaving on a ship. there are even dock sounds in the background. Super dude, Amore faux pas would be a blunder in love. sounds like his ordeal with miss leading Put this song together with the other ones, im sure there's connections as for the bombs going off... maybe thats coming in another act? |

| I looked up "parous" and it says it's one or more, but the song does say she's wealthy of a parous plight, so it could easily mean she had two children. I have a theory.... anyone think the Dear Hunter and the Smiling Swine are brothers? I haven't read the rest of the song meanings yet so i donno if that's been ruled out but it would be an interesting plot device. That and "The stage is set" would have a lot more meaning. thoughts? | |
