Lupe is talking about the government, not the devil. This song has nothing to do with any song he has out already. Its nothing like The Game either. Dont you know that i run this place. the world and iv begun this race. the race we all run as people in this world, trying to strive for more and more, raceing each other to get it. we have curency because of the government. thats how the race started Must i rerun this pace. Im the reason its become this way thats obvious and their love for it is the reason People love this life most embrace the chance to succeed, i have become this praised but its all a game, one that we al perticipate in they love my darkness we perticipate in their plan iv made them heartless theyve made this world dog-eat-dog few people care for each other anymore and in return they have become my martyrs we complain to them for our problems. ask them to fix it.
