I think this song (& album) speak of vulnerabilty. with the line "Take away the freedoms I wanted I understand". He's willing to give up who is to be with the person in the song. they way he sings the chorus he sounds almost like he is begging as he pleads don't take your love away. I think this song along with the rest of the album really speaks true volumes to how we all get in a vulnerable and "nude" state after losing someone that meant a lot OR had a hold over us. |
