I think that the lyrics perhaps shouldn’t be taken so literally. There are usually a lot off metaphors in lovedrugs lyrics, e.g “Friends are friends until they drive drunk” Could mean something more along the lines off drunk from the love of a girl. I hadn’t heard this song before tonight so I can’t be sure. |

When i asked a mate of mine who got me onto loedrug said that this song was about depression and how when you are depressed you push your bad feelings onto the people around you the sun is his depression "now tell me "it burns it burns" " Im not Sure iff there are any other meanings in the lyrics but iff there are could you please let me know!?
