yeah its definately a song about being played i think this part >> 'You should know that you're just a temporary fix This is not rooted with you it don't mean that much to me You're just a filler in the space that happened to be free How dare you think you'd get away with trying to play me' could be that shes just saying it to herself because when your being led on by somebody and you know it, which she obviously does, you hate the thought of you being the only one falling in love, so not only do you make excuses for terrible things they do, you lie to yourself and try and make yourself beleive it dosent mean anything and you could get out of it anytime you wanted, if shes thinking like this it makes her think that he will beleive thats how she really feels. my favourite part of the song is 'But, despite the truth that I know I find it hard to let go and give up on you Seems I love the things you do Like the meaner you treat me the more eager I am To persist with this heartbreak and running around And I will do until i find myself with you and make you feel a way you've never felt before' it just describes exactly how i feel. it such a harsh fact that the meaner people treat you and the more distant they are with you the more you like them. but if your in this situation you just need to realise that the energy your wasting on this person could be being turned into positive energy and love for the people that actually care about you and are there for you when your upset (ironically this is usually about the person your being played by) :):) |

this song is amazing i cant beleive nobody has commented on it i love the way he switches from 'You make me feel just like I'm helpless, foolish, selfish, so alone' to 'I finally realized You're selfish, foolish, helpless, so damn cold' its like hes been through hell wondering why this girl cheated on him and blaming himself and then towards the end of the song he realises all of the things he thought he was actually describe his ex perfectly. its kind of like a 'fuck you' song, he realises hes better off without her and shes the one with the problems not him. :):) |
