Tweedy seems to be saying [to a girl] that he wants to be remembered. He may not have had anything with her, but he liked her, but all he wants from her is to be remembered. There's an episode on the new season of Scrubs involving a man whose name is George Valentine. He is suffering from some variant of colon cancer I believe, and he's horribly sad that he's dying, because he doesn't believe anyone will remember him as his family is dead, and he had no kids or anything. All Tweedy wants is to be remembered, as he had a good time, and he wishes she did too. |

I can relate to this song perfectly. I liked this girl, and I think she liked me back, but nothing ever happened between us. Over winter break I didn't talk to her nor communicate with her. I stopped liking her, and I was at peace, finally! Haha, I wasn't worrying or thinking about this girl.
Except, now, I feel it again, and, I think she does too. Wish me luck. :] |
