I really like your take. I thought of the meaning when she talks about the Valium Knight. Valium is a medication taken to relieve anxiety. It gave me the impression that she's talking about how your life can be so out of control and you end up finding that one person who you fall in love with and they just completely calm you down and they kind of become your drug. Then she starts to talk about how as you said, the love for her Valium Knight is waning. I'm not quite sure, but the reference to him being a vagrant could be like when you fall out of love with someone, they are no longer in your life, but you can't help but to have them wander through your thoughts. |
