This might be a little cliche, but honestly this could apply to a romantic relationship, you know? There's no danger we're just Killing time again Until they order up new parts >Whenever the relationship is on, he convinces himself he doesn't think either of them will get hurt too bad because it's happened so many times. Every time they are back on the relationship gets stronger but still seems to fall apart, so he's waiting until the big barrier breaks down that's keeping them from staying together.
