till i read other interpretations , I thought this song was about a civilian girl's situation during an ongoing war and afterwards. The first verse describes a going on war. "Crowded streets are cleared away ... wars are mostly about old men giving orders while soldiers die Her country may have won or lost, but the song for me is about how she gets back with her life when the situation around her calms down. The war is over but everything around is not like before. its cold /uncomfortable but she has to move on with her life "Show me how it ends, .... " |
