Yeah, this was about a PT fan, very obviously. I knew her casually through PT sites. I haven't heard Steven say it was about her, but I'm almost sure it was. Her family doesn't think it was suicide, but it just seems that way. If you watch the video for the song, it was set up just the way that she and her friend died.
When I saw them on the FOABP tour, they played this song then transitioned into A Smart Kid, which was her favorite song. As you can imagine, I was crying when I realized that it was about her. As soon as I saw the train behind the girl in the video, it was clear. |

"You keep me listening to The Bends" is about the Radiohead album of that name. It's a pretty sad album. I can't really break that one down any further, though. |
