Well, i have a very special point of view: Is a woman, married to some square head dumb (sorry, my english is so imperfect...). She has a bit of a lesbian inclination, and doesn´t have the chance to talk about it or live it freely. So, in secret she goes away from her normal boring live to let her impulse grow free. She es happy and anjoys doing it, and her husband is so deep into his work and "normal" life that can´t even realize what is going on. This thougt fits with the parts: "I'm smiling while lying to you", and also with "if you only knew..." Also fits with the part of "when no one is around i walk in your shoes". Meaning (i think) she is also looking for and engaging with girls, as he would. Good song that calls the atention for many misunderstood women trapped in lives that follow certain rules planned before in wich they don´t fit, but can´t get away. endocrf. |
