Aranguthy, they use a lot of Greek Mythology in their songs especially off of this album. In Greek mythology as You may know they believe in many different gods. The "Oldest Story in the Book" is referring to him "Desiring the one thing he cannot have" and the one thing he cannot have is his life and his love at the same time. and Bible is spelled with 2 "B's" not 3. |

Yeah, it's definitely about a wannabe war hero. Also, just from the basic hearing of it, one of the most emo songs....ever, haha? "you take my breath away... but Ill never again taste your lips as fate keeps me locked away I must close my eyes to see your face emptiness has darkened my eyes as I hopelessly beg for my life to end" great song, nonetheless. |

I think that this song is, in fact, just a love song. Actually it is one of my favorite songs ever and probably my favorite off of Where Myth Fades to Legend, and it is actually my song with my girlfriend. I think this is Alesana's first and ONLY love song.
