| Tokyo Police Club – Tessellate Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| To me, "Broken hearts tessellate tonight" means that a pair of mismatched, unrelated broken hearts can come together and enjoy being whole, if for just a little while. | |

I totally had a chance to see them locally as the second opener for Cold War Kids but I felt sick and threw up before they came on and I went home! BIGGEST mistake of my LIIIFE. |

The lyrics I got from another source were toooottally wrong. I'm glad these are right. "The gun is testing your faith. It always wants to shoot you down when you've already been saved." I don't even know what it is about it. The way this is sung and with the music and the lyrics.. SO GOOD. |

"Cher chez la femme" is French, right? What's it mean? |

| What's the instrument that starts off the song? A xylophone? I think that such a simple sound really complements the simplicity of the whole piece. | |

Someone told me to download this song when they wanted me to listen to The Damnwells and it hooked me. By far my favorite song of thiers. I think his "one fool/full wish" is that he and his girl could just enjoy their time. "Golden days" would mean like, really perfect, satisfying time together and he just wants to be caught up in that and nothing else. All he hears is her. I'm confused by the line "there's a bold unbridled lie where my soul once stood." Any ideas? |

I love the opening four lines of this song. It's about seduction, risk, and sex without committment. |
