I personally love this song... There's nothing wrong with sentimental or meaningful songs but it's always nice to hear a song that makes you happy and wanna just kick back with your mates and drink piss and relax... Yeah i totally agree with UA Drummer... I recently saw an interview with Dexter and he says the songs about a girl he knew in school who he was suspicious was being sexually abused... "And i should have spoke out" "And I'm so sorry now" That shows what he felt and should've done something about it... It would be alot nicer if it was a love/making up sort or song but the lyrics explain a very deeper and depessing meaning than that!!! |

Bowling for soup are incredible! They have to ability to combine wicked music with positive/happy lyrics! They have their slower more meaningful tunes but all in all if i'm sad i listen to them... The simplicity of their songs like Blink 182's are in a class of their own... They prove you don't need to write huge guitar solos to make great music! "All we need is an ice-cream and a hug" |
