This is a good description calculating, and I also have the same feelings, or atleast think I do from these lyrics. The part where he says "If time has taught us this much, its that honesty is the cornerstone of trust. Well to tell the truth I'm tired of watching clocks, waiting for endings of evenings that never seem to stop. Enough!" I have been in this situation. When I was with my girlfriend, the past couple of weeks I tried my hardest to still love her even though i knew it was over. and the last 2-3 days I just stared at the clock waiting to go home. It is the worst feeling in the world when you know something like that is over. And i feel like maybe thats what he meant by this verse. |

Amazing band, amazing song. This song seems to talk about how people only try to go into careers that give them money, and not by what they love. they are 'distorted by choice' so they dont have a choice to do what they want either. And maybe this is saying if you do what you want you will 'no longer' have any negativities come your way. |

It seems like the lines ''Lash of one thousand eyebrows clicking Counting the toll Counting the toll Lash of one thousand eyebrows clicking Counting the toll Counting the toll'' mean that people are at a funeral because it says ''lash of one thousand eyebrows clicking'' means a lot of people are crying and keep having to close and open their eyes. and counting the tool means, i can't explain it..Isn't it a reference for the dead? I could be wrong because Televators is when he jumps...and I think this is before that? but, I just put my input to it to see what you'll think of it. |
