| You, Me, and Everyone We Know – Sometimes We Have Too Much Fun Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think this song is about people keeping him from doing what he wants to do. Maybe. | |
| Blind Melon – Seed To A Tree Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
---I think this song is him thinking back on his life. ---When he was young he had a lot of run in's with the police and was arrested several times. "What were you thoughts, as they Were flying through your mind Compared to what you feel from The bars your now behind If they could speak, what do you think They would say to you? I do believe you'd been better Off if you'd just told the truth" ---He's asking himself this. "Never had a problem till I stood face to face with me And I wish there was a way for me to go inside so I could see All the faces of the people who have torn a piece of me As I grew from a seed to a tree." --This is also his conflict with himself (as interpreted from the first line) And he's also thinking of all the people who he has conflicted with as he was growing up (from a seed to a tree) ---Well, that's what I get from the first half of the song. I hope other people can see what I'm getting at. |

| Blind Melon – Drive Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Well, I definitely think this song is watching a friend go through drug addiction. "Can you drive?" referring to is he sober enough to drive. And "And on his way out his glazed stare Will make you stop and wonder Hey William is that the last time I'm gonna look at you?" referring to how William may not make it till the next day because it's possible of an OD. That's what I get from it anyway. |

| Brighten – Darling Nicotine Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I'm pretty sure this song could be about quitting smoking. If I remember correctly (I could be wrong) Justin used to smoke cigarettes but has since stopped. And this could be the song he wrote about it. | |
