But on a more serious note My Grandpa was German but fought for USA (stationed in Maine) and lost his leg, met and married an Irish woman and moved to Ottawa, had 8 kids, true story German Traitor, but American/Canadian Hero He believed in Freedom for all, not gassing people because of bloodlines, race or sexuality. Sorry to be off topic but when I played this song for him he was alive again with passion and the stories he told, good and bad. He did not hate the song but it was a little fast for his taste (bing Crosby, Pat boone, Al Jolsen era ). but it was great to see him smiling.

Rime of the Ancient mariner is sucha proud song, It fills me up with pride, this is right up there with watching your only born child take his first step, ride his first bike, Get his first A, kiss his first girl and even drive his first car. This song is right up there with all of the above. Steve Harris should be really proud of this song. Can we say evil Genious.
