| It's kind of interesting how songs from bands like Lifehouse and The Fray always have a battle beneath them on whether the songs have Christian meaning or not. Now I'm coming from a Christian perspective with this. The thing is that non-christians aren't going to view the songs the same way or see all the lyrics that are common in Christian songs. They can't see all the parts that are obviously from a Christian perspective because they don't listen to Christian music and besides, bands out there that are seeking to spread Christ by being under a secular label are usually more ambiguous when they talk about their songs. Sure Jason may have been inspired to write the song after visiting the guy who needed a kidney transplant, but that doesn't mean that's what the song is entirely about. Just a few thoughts I had. | |
