Pretty legit song
I see it as being in a band and following their dream of making music but not getting caught up in it and taking it for granted. "The faces we ignore, Could be the faces that keep us alive" is talking about their fans being the reason they're able to keep following their dream because without any of us, they wouldn't be able to keep touring and making music. |

Basically I see the album going as, Satan calls out God, God raises an army by talking to different people at different points in life, God whoops on Satan. |

I see this as a guy who possibly rapes, numerous lines suggest this. God is saying that he will forgive him for what he's done yet he feels he doesn't deserve God's forgiveness and is just another lost cause and wants to be put to sleep like a dog.
