i believe this song is about sincere love. that people, either his friends, or family, sincerely don't believe in, or approve of. the part where he says "if you could only see the way she loves me, then maybe you'd understand", that's sincere, and solified. as if to say, "she's it, for me" then when he says, "Sayin' you love but you don't. You give your love but you won't", that's liquid compared to concrete, uncertainty over-rules that verse. xxx |
