[We were] just grappling to understand why God would let certain things happen. We had lunch that day and we were talking about it and the conclusion we came to is really what the bridge says. It says, ?There?s so many questions without answers, but your promises remain.? Basically what that is saying is you know what? Sometimes we aren?t going to get the answers we want, but we still have God?s promises and the tough part of that is when Jesus said to us, ?I will never leave you nor forsake you,? but your whole world feels like he?s done exactly that, it is no small thing to hold onto the truth and cling to that truth. ?Hold My Heart? is a psalm. hmm, i hear "i'm shackled and i'm bound" which actually fits in with that part of the song because he's telling how he's basically losing himself and who he used to be and he's asking God to come and save him from who has has become, so shackled and bound makes sense to me, because only God can free you from that. at any rate, i love, love, love this song <3 amazing band (: |

everybody has the right to their opinion and everybody veiws songs differently who really cares if somebody views in a christain way. besides, thousand foot krutch is a christian rock band so it probably does pertains to Christ. It's how i view it as well. Not to mention they make the reference: " Lord, I need to know.." as if he's speaking to God. |
