woah i see we're havin some differences of opinion on this song...i think that this song is about being different from the rest of the world, as a Christian i hear these lyrics and they inspire me to refuse to conform to the ways of the world or the "typical". frankly, most of the world has become corrupt and its typical to hear about the evil of the world everday and it doesnt even shock us anymore!

i read that this song is about his dad being wrongly accused of something by the church and how he got throught it. anyway really awesome song, makes me think of how baptism symbolizes Jesus washing away our sins. |
