I can really relate this song to my past relationship. (In my opinion) Basically, it's about a guy that she likes, but she really doesn't want to because she is sure that he's only playing games with her. As much as she tries, she can't stop liking him and it's killing her on the inside. But then also in the song, she states that she doesn't want to like him unless he likes her in return. |

| It's pretty much a given. I'm guessing he's at a reunion in the beginning and while looking back at his days, he wants to give advice to the teens of now. Saying that you should just be yourself because "it's only 4 years long" and all of the labels will be nothing when you graduate. | |

I'm not exactly sure what this song means, but this is my interpretation. It's about his ex-girlfriend. He can tell/sense that she's playing games with him. And also, he's stated that he was convinced by all her lies. Well, actually, I have a more in-depth interpretation in my head, but I just can't put it in words. But yeah. . . I can relate this song to my recent ex-boyfriend. |
