I think this song is not about an angel at all, I think it's to do with someone in a very relgious community and she was respected and (hence calling her a saint, angel, and having wings)she lifes a relativly an unhappy life but kept on dreaming for things to go right. she then either sinned(possibly adultry) or lost her faith in christ though im thinking more she sinned("a polaroid of shame" polaroid being a picture so shes feeling ashamed of her self and also "a dying picture of lies" shes lied about what she did) They all found out about what she did and now they are simply punishing her "her last little weak why" after all the good she has done she is questioning why she is being punished for 1 mistake. "the bloody end of a dream" All her dream are gone "termination bliss" the end of her blissful dreaming.
