this song is such an amazing song to drive home to after a long night. things seem to slow down to it. morganulooklikehell, u asked her? lucky thing haha. thanks for sharing. to me this song (or at least the beginning of it) is about having a fight with a loved one and then feeling like you "have to drive" to get away from them and be alone in your car. and then she hits a deer. smack. |

Duplexes of the Dead seems to run straight into the lyrics of this song. This is a bit iffy, but it seems to me like she kills her husband with chlorine fumes (perhaps through the air conditioning like on the bus) and she calms him by telling him he feels sleepy. She puts the pen back in his hand so it looks he died naturally, like she's removing the evidence? And then maybe she runs away with a blonde lady to New Mexico in Ex-guru haha. Bit confusing. But its really awesome that way. |
