Brian Eno – I'll Come Running (To Tie Your Shoe) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Weird song. I can't stop listening to it. |
Pink Floyd – Learning to Fly Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I agree with ramthar, this song is awesome in that it does make you feel like your flying, and feel the cold, and hear rushing air. Yep. Love it. I must get the rest of the album, too. |
Pink Floyd – Breathe (Reprise) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I love this reprise. First time I heard it was Groove Armada's version, which had the original Breath and the reprise. That's what got me into Pink Floyd. I think this song is about life, basically. And the verse with the line, 'And ridng on the biggest wave, we race towards an early grave', that's about death, and how it always comes closer than expected. |
Koop – Relaxin' at the Club Fucking Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I've heard Koop, but not this song. The lyrics sound soo familiar though. I know I've heard that somewhere before. =.= Umm, maybe Dorfmeister/Hansel/Orel... |
Koop – Beyond the sun Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This song is so cool, but I only realised it was a letter after I read the lyrics on the CD cover. It must've taken you ages to write this.. :] I could listen to it over and over and still not get all of it. |
The Cure – Killing an Arab Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I'm going to not say a lot of things about racism and war and murder and all and say though this song wouldn't be very politically correct nowadays, brilliant song. :-D The meanings fairly self-explanatory to me. |
Depeche Mode – Enjoy The Silence Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This song is great! His voice and the melody are the best. Words are very unnecessary They can only do harm I love this line. i think the song is about how silence is better than talking because talking can harm people a lot. Bit of a mixed bag there though because sometimes silence can hurt and sometimes words are good. In my opinion I think words are better even if they can harm because nothing is ever truly safe and good and un-harmful/un-damaging... Also, they wrote a whole friggin song about how silence is good, isn't that an oxymoron? ...Or something... |
Chaz Jankel – Glad to Know You Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I'm not sure what this song sounds like but I've heard the cover by Kitty Grant. I think she just repeats the chorus a lot. Great song though. Song about... gratitude? Nice people? xS |
Midlake – Roscoe Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Whenever I was a child I wonder what if my name had changed Into something more productive Like Roscoe been born in 1891 I love this verse, the song sounds so mysterious and, umm, reminds me of marshes and wizards. I only have the Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve remix though, I'd like to hear the original. And call me ignorant or whatever, but I honestly believe they chose 1891 because it sounds better than, say, 1711. Because that's something I would do, pick a random date that sounds nice. They probably had some sort of motive though... |
MGMT – Boogie Down Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This song is great. Along with Destrokk, they both have really stick-in-your-head choruses. Addictive~ :'D |
Groove Armada – At the River Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Love this song, it has such a mellow and relaxing sound. -.- I've always wanted to know what the backing vocals are singing though. It sounds a bit like 'Good shoes'. Or maybe it's the sound of waves crashing onto the shore... |
Lady GaGa – Christmas Tree Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Oh, good. I'm glad there are no comments yet because I can be the first to say I'm ashamed in liking this song. BD |
Modest Mouse – Dashboard Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I think this song is just about people who stuff up in life and bad things happen, but the radio's still playing and everythings cool. I love the instrumental parts. His voice is awesome too, but hard to understand. It's one of my favourite listening-to-on-hot-days-with-window-open songs. |
SoKo – I Will Never Love You More Lyrics | 15 years ago |
'I will never love you more than my boyfriend when I was 14 Even if he's now an asshole, I will never love you more' Kekeke. This song is such a fun appoach to heartbreak! =D |
Aim – Good Disease Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This song is so light and fluffy, it makes me think of sitting in a field by the river. The best! |
Moby – Run On Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This song reminds me of a running dog or small child, because before I never really knew what he was singing and only heard the 'Run on' lyric. :S Also, the tune and singing does kind of run on, the melody runs on and slides into itself.... Ehh, word association. Kinda creepy in an old-fashioned way, nice song though. |
Moby – Porcelain Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This song has such a nice sound, it's really easy to listen to and just zone out to. I think it matches "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad", they could almost be one run-on song. I think the word porcelain shows just how fragile love is. Love it! |
MGMT – Kids Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I love this song so much, it sounds kind of sad and nolstagic but energetic at the same time? (Ehh). 'Control yourself, take only what you need from it' makes more sense, but maybe my speakers are crap. I can't hear that kid saying "Daddy...I love you" at all. |
