I have a few opinions on what this means, depending on which part of my mind is listening to this. The first is the obvious; she wants a world where there's no anger and rage, where people can just get along and not hurt or kill eachother. She's sick of murders, hurt and cruelty. Another part of me thinks she's speaking about the darkness and how it tries or has already overwhelmed her. "Make us feel so cold inside/But they cannot take us there cause we will fight" could mean that she's not going to give into the darkness. My last opinion is that she could be talking about people being abused as children. "Who want a world where a kid can be safe?" The same with "Who wants a love without anger and rage?" This could be the love between the abusive parent/s and the child. I think there's some mistakes in these lyrics though. I thought "But I won't be falling" was "But I, I won't be for long." |
