| I think it could also be about Bella in love with Jake in Eclipse, I think it fits better for that book. Like Bella is saying that Jake keeps getting hurt by what she does with Edward but she doesn't want to let Jake go either because she it also in love with him; and at the same time it is Edward that she truly wants and needs to survive. But, I don't know I think it works for that situtation better because Edward never really felt that harsh about her loving him that much and in the song it describes that they keep pushing and pulling; that doesn't really fit with Edward and Bella.
