the first part of this song is clearly religious. conor known earlier for atheism or doubt is slowly through his later songs showing how he is in a stage of his life where he is finding "god" or something of meaning to him.. cut a new key to the kingdom" obviously shows this.. and church bells like mobile phones as well. a long sunday drive to be taking alone. showing that his friends are not in the same search for "reason" |
