| Love is hell. | |
| Corinne Bailey Rae – Trouble Sleeping Lyrics | 17 years ago |

It scares her to be in love. But she is, she definitely is. She doesn't to hear that though, because that would make it all too real. I don't really like this song, but I can relate on so many different levels. |

| Atmosphere – Fuck You Lucy Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
This song is gorgeous. He wants to hate "Lucy" so badly for hurting him..but he can't because he loves her, and always will. Sometimes you can never forgive someone for fucking you up, for taking your heart, but you still have them in your heart, because they're a part of your soul. Love you always, T. Even if you fucked me up. |

| This song is the best to sing to when you're in a bad mood. Seriously, try it. | |
| Feist – Lover's Spit (Broken Social Scene cover) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
This song mentions a blow job, but it's not the central point. This song is about meaningless one night stands ("tied to a night you've never met"). The song is about settling down, growing old together. I think. |

| Mason Proper – Fog Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I'm going to take a stab at this song. I feel like it's a relationship that's falling apart. And sometimes, one of them will run away from each other, or make a mistake, which just makes it all worse. "I found a crystal ball, but I lost it. I bought a tea leaf to find out where you are but i drank it only seer i could find told me lies, told me you were just fine burned her place to the ground i'm regretting it now that ain't ever right." He might not even understand why the relationship is falling apart, and wants to work it out, thus the line "i'll meet you in the fog again, and between you and i we can make some sense of this". But there's also that word "fog" which is sort of a metaphor for something not being clear. So maybe he's just losing hope in the relationship, and just assuming that even if they try to work it all out, it'll never be fixed. |

| Elliott Smith – I Didn't Understand Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
He's wishing he wouldn't stayed with the girl, but he "didn't understand" and now it's too late. He's feeling bad about not having the girl, and saying that "There's nothing there that she'll miss". Sometimes when humans feel bad about something, we blame ourselves. |

| Broken Social Scene – Anthems for a Seventeen Year Old Girl Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
"Used to be one of the rotten ones and I liked you for that." I feel like this is a way of saying "Don't leave me behind. Don't leave me alone. I liked you for who you were before." "Talkin' Trash, under my window." I think she's saying the subject of the song is talking trash about her. Like suddenly, this person doesn't care about her at all, and is just trying to fit in by putting her down, because she (the singer) is still a "rotten one". "Park that car Drop that phone Sleep on the floor Dream about me" This is how it used to be, before everything changed. They used to dream together, sleeping on the floor. But now, this teenage girl got her license, and is always talking on the phone, like teenage girls sometimes do. And the singer is saying, "please come back. I miss you" |
