The first time I heard this song I thought it was about abortion because of the part "the little hands you'll never hold..." I always kind of pictured it like a story about a guy and a girl, one night they have sex and create a baby, but they weren't married or engaged or anything serious and the girl just got an abortion without telling the guy. He finds out and feels like by giving away what is essentially a piece of himself, she has "gave me away to the angels" and he feels badly about it, like he would've wanted her to keep the baby. I don't know, but that's the good thing about it, it's up to your interpretation. There could probably be lots more meanings behind this song, stories left untold, it all lies in your perspective of the songs meaning :) |

| lol I never noticed that those were the only lyrics. I always thought of it like a guy likes this girl and she thinks that he just likes her because she has money, but it could also be like how they as a band felt about making music. They just liked to do it, they didn't care about the money :) | |
