Go:Audio – Raise Your Glass Lyrics 17 years ago
Before I start the first line in the chorus should be...
"Here's to the night we owe it all to."

And instead of "Brake your silence," it should be "Break your silence."

But as for the song, this is my equal favourite by Go:Audio along with Brake Brake. It's pretty obviously about a night out on the town and that wondrous feeling you get when you know it's an awesome night.
You never want it to end, you're just dancing and drinking, you find that girl who makes it even better and it turns into one of those nights you will never forget; one of the best of your life! :D

Love it!

Now not being a Slipknot fan (I know nothing about the band to be honest) I can't talk about the relationship between the singer and his ex-wife, the drug addiction or anything like that. All my interpretation will be about it what I get straight out of the lyrics, his voice, the music, the tone and of course it will all be subjective to my own imagination and experiences.

To me the song comes in two parts with each part shading over slightly towards the next as a really nice bridge throughout the song. The first "half" he talks about the relationship whereby he is the bad guy; dark, uncaring and that he doesn't deserve her even though he loves her so.

Then once you get to the line "I couldn’t face a life without your light But all of that was ripped apart… when you refused to fight" it all changes. Sure it was bad, he wasn't perfect but you should have loved him and stuck by him. You didn't even fight (care) to keep the relationship going, you just gave up and walked away ("You Ran Away - You’re All The Same"). And then the next two verses are talking about how, though at the beginning he said he was bad, he wishes he could have hurt her for her blatant apathy of the relationship and how he is over her now and comes out morally on top.
