All though I laugh and act like a clown beneath this mask I am wearing a frown my tears are falling like rain from the sky is it for her or myself that I cry I have used this verse many times over the years...initially to help me understand myself, and later, to invite others to understand me. To me, this song in the beginning, sounds very similar to some of John Lennon's solo work some of his demo work on Piano. Does anyone agree with me?? I wonder how much of an influence John Lennon was on Mr. Gibbard or the Beatles for that matter?? |
