this is years too late but daftcain, I disagree.. you don't have to be full of yourself to be the one in this song showing your feelings I'm on the other side of the situation.. I kind of like this guy, but not enough to want anything with him. The weird thing is, he's perfect for me, honestly.. he's romantic, funny, loving, all the stuff that I always wanted before(until I had my ex) and now that I'm single again and we like each other... I just don't have the right feelings (yet?) I just know that it would work with him, but for some reason I don't want it. he wouldn't be full of himself to use this song.. |

This song basically is about a girl(or guy) who was broken up with by their significant other. They don't understand what happened and they're trying to find out. They believed they were unbreakable, untouchable, and that they were in it for the long run(you and me against the world, and you promised me forever more) He or she promised the singer that they would always be together and now that they're broken up, the singer is struggling to comprehend the whole thing. This is how I feel right now about my current situation. Had boyfriend for two years, it was all good, a little fighting towards the end, but even right before the end he told me not to worry, that we'd be good in the long run, and over time, he had told me plenty of times that he would love me always. now he doesn't love me; we're not together. I don't think the singer's boyfriend(girlfriend) cheated though, I think there would be more scorn in the song. This more of like mourning the loss of the relationship, the death of their future, and the confusion of it all. =[ |
