I don't think it sounds like Amy Lee at all. Amy writes about more real stuff and WT is more 'fantasy' (not that it's a bad thing). This is more of a haunting-fantasy song whereas Evanescence has more straightforward meanings to songs. Either way, I love it. |

the video with the actual band in it, and this is only my opinion, just makes me think of how people used to appreciate 'small' things and the world was 'lighter' in a sense, and then people got greedy and it becomes darker. i like the song, but it just doesn't fit the video well. |

I think this is written in the mother's viewpoint--that she is saying he can hate her and she can live with that if it makes him happy, but to just live. The fact that he 'kills himself' is what makes her hate him in the end. BUT THIS IS JUST ME, AND I HAVE MY OWN WEIRD WAYS OF THINKING! |
