| KT Tunstall – Silent Sea Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I think it's abotu beign let down, by anyone. Not being angry or even that -upset- by it, just dissapointed in them and lost as to where to go from there. |
| The Hoosiers – Money To Be Made Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I've got it now :L Maybe. Sort of leavign the things and peopel you love to get where you want to be in life. There's 'money to be made' so they're off to make it, even though it means leaving stuff behind. Please tell what me if you thikn it's wrong / right. |

| Kate Nash – Mouthwash Lyrics | 16 years ago |
We did a piece on this song in drama. We had to act out our daily routine and ignroe everybody else around us and in a way that's what this song is about. It's like we've all got our own personal things that make us us - appearences; freckles and veins. Our thouhgts, opinions and memories. Also that we are maybe all a bit wrapped up in ourselves. Just as another note, I though it was really weird how wen half the group went up and the rest had to watch that they all sat up and went back to sleep on the second note/chord at the very begginign C: |

| Jack Penate – Made Of Codes Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I think the lines " It's a constant cycle so hurry Do all you can before you're buried " are my favourite C: Becasue you really should. |
| The Hoosiers – Rules Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Also. 1:56 - 2:07 Is a pretty brilliant 11 seconds. I love the xylophone sounding part in the background and the vocal backing as well. |
| The Hoosiers – Rules Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I'm not top sure what this song is about, but some of it makes me think about doign things you'd rather not to make other happy, and abandoning things to get where YOU want. Not sure why. But it does... |
| The Hoosiers – The Feeling You Get When Lyrics | 17 years ago |
For me, the words ARE 'the feeling you get when...' and you feel in the gap. For me, it's when somebody I don't know (like when I did an audition for a talent contest) said I was really good, and that was the first positive feedback from people apart from my friends. |
| Sam Sparro – Black and Gold Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Though I knwo this is not the real meanig nof the song, my original thoughts was it about losing someone you love 'If you're not really here, then I don't want to either' Imaginign that thye are still there? |
| The Hoosiers – Goodbye Mr A Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I was watchig nan interview of the Hoosiers, and thye said that Mr A is basiclly 'the man who figured out the world'. He knows all the answers and is really very annoying - eveybody knows somebody like Mr A. |
| Jack Penate – We Will Be Here Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Even though Earth is tiny in comparison to the rest of the universe, our own personal world of friends, family and work is infinetly big and interesting to us. | |
| Jack Penate – Got My Favourite Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I really love this song. It seems to be simply how Mr Penate feels, and not a serious or important message he wants people to think about. All of his favourite clothes, and how thye make him feel c: |

| The Pussycat Dolls – When I Grow Up Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song, and everything ot do wit the pussycat dolls, makes me feel ill. Just thought I'd sahre that. |
| KT Tunstall – Through The Dark Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Also possibly about being turned away from a job or something? | |
| Cherry Ghost – Thirst for Romance Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I think this is about growing old, and wanting people to remember the young you than the older or weaker you. "buried my mother, father, sister, brother, lover So why'd they treat me like a child?" Is possibly the most easy to understand example. The "demons dancing" I'm sure is something to do with workign in a factory but don't trust me on that one. |
| Cherry Ghost – 4am Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Though you may think this a sad song because it seems to be about loneliness, for me it's saying that >everyone< gets a little lonely. "No there ain't no place on earth That loneliness ain't been first" |
| KT Tunstall – Through The Dark Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I love this and only wish my hands were big enough to reach some of those starting chords on the paino (: It's almost a story, starting with heartbreak and cofusion, then prehaps realising that the confusion or 'dark' is not as bad as you might think. |
| KT Tunstall – Throw Me A Rope Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I adore this song so much. I sing it all the time c: | |
| KT Tunstall – Throw Me A Rope Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I adore this song so much. I sing it all the time c: It's very obviously about missing somebody you love. |
| KT Tunstall – Other Side Of The World Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Yet again everyone else has said what I was going to and I see no point in repeating it. But I would just like to say this was the first song I heard by her (being the first on Eye to the Telescope) and she has been my inspiration since (: |
| The Hoosiers – Worst Case Scenario Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I find this song a tiny bit sinister. Sort of patronizing or something... c: But I adore it all the same. If they were singing >to< someone then it sounds a little bit like they've just given up on trying to get them to lighten up. Hahah, I know the feeling. |
| The Hoosiers – Money To Be Made Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Not too sure what this means to me, but it makes me feel funny inside... Hangon... No I gave up on trying to interpret this (: But it's lovely. |
| The Hoosiers – A sadness runs through him Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This has got nothing to do withe meaning as there is really nothing more to add, but I love the very last little bit as it just tails off with that vocal tremolo (?I think?) and is lovely (: | |
| KT Tunstall – Miniature Disasters Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I sang this for an audition, and got me in so I feel like I should really comment on it (: But there really isn't anything more I can think of adding that other people haven't said already. |
| KT Tunstall – Hopeless Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Toblerone00 has summed up what I was just about to type (: I feel that way sometimes. I really love acting and I'm trying to join up to a nearby operatic society but my mum is telling me don't. |
| KT Tunstall – Heal Over Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I love this. Even just the opening chords. It's a bit of a pain because although I know the chords my fingers aren't long enough to play them on the piano D: I think it's mainly about a friendship or romance that has stopped, and the singer in consoling them. c: |
| KT Tunstall – Gone To The Dogs Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think is perhaps similar to Funnyman in meaning? Or is that just way too obvious... | |
| The Hoosiers – Cops & Robbers Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I thought findign a meanign to this would be rpetty easy. But it's not. I think being against authority is part of it. That makes little sense actually. Ignroe me if you wish (: | |
| The Hoosiers – Everything Goes Dark Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I know everyone is saying death, which I agree with, but maybe war aswell? "All that you left behind Will never be the same It's come for all that you hold dear She starts to cry" "It's not gonna matter what you chose" Maybe? |
| The Hoosiers – Killer Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I think that has sort of two meanings? One is the obvious - warning others of him beign a killer. But the other one that sprang to my mind was mainstreaming of music. "I’m fearless now, but it cost my soul" lots of very manufactured singers seem completely unbeatable but also a bit... personality-less "A man-made monstrosity" "Why’d you think I do the things I do? For shadows haunted me like ghosts So I became what I feared the most" being pressured into it? I dunno. the mroe I think, the less it makes sense... (: |
