| In a weird way, this song is even more intimate then saying "I want to fuck you" because of the exclusiveness of it. I mean, there's no issue singing songs about wanting to have sex with someone in a public area, but if you pull this one out you're defiantly going to get weird looks. To me, the story goes like this: I bunch of junkies get together to go shoot heroine or something. After they shoot they all begin to pair off and leave to go have sex. Everyone is gone except one girl who's just hanging out hoping for the same thing to happen to her. Elliott is down with it (hatever you got right now will probably suit me fine), but wants her to be straight about it instead of pretending to be looking for more drugs. just what I see :) |

At first glance, anorexia seems to fit, but when you realy read all the lyrics, it dosn't explain everything. Rape, however does. I picture a pretty girl who is far too young (Like really young, 12ish. But that's just me. It seems capri sun is sort of a juvenile thing). she may be a little bit of a tease. Her cleavage is showing, her hair is down, she's extremely comfortable in her own skin, and she throws suggestive glances at a man far too old for her. The man knows the girl isn't a virgin, and figures it really isn't wrong if he sleeps with her. This song is his justification. "She was showing her body. she shouldn’t act like that if she doesn't want it." I could see either way the sex being "Consensual" or not. Truly haunting song. |
