omg! this song only has ONE comment?! this song is probably the best song in the whole world right now, i love it!! i really need this song in new moon!!! (excuse the pun) here's what it means for me and how i picture it for the book: i picture the forest scene, when edward is leaving bella, because at the start of the song she's kinda saying she's not ready for this to be over, stay with me, this is hard but i still need you. Then maybe for like the first chorus she's curled up in a ball on the forest floor, crying, her hand open, searching for edward's hand wishing he'd appear by her side like he always used to. then for the next verse sam finds her and she's kinda letting herself be led out of the forest, and she wants him, or anyone, to lie to her and tell her edward will be back, because she can feel herself slipping away into that zombie period. then for the next chorus i see her sleeping in her room without edward there and she's tossing and turning and having nightmares, again reaching out for him then waking up crying when she realises he's not there. then in the next verse i see her trying to get on with her life, because edward doesn't want her, he's told her that this is how it's supposed to be. she's trying to accept it and get on with her life for charlie and stuff, even though it hurts her so much. then yeah for the last bit just bella trying to live normally during the day, but also show her dreams when sometimes he's there and it's like it used to be but other times she's wondering if he's missing/looking for her too. she keeps having flashbacks to the forest, all that sort of stuff... that's how i picture it every time i hear the song, and yeh, i think it would be awesome to see that in the movie, or at least a bit like that =] luv steph xx |

| hey, i saw it on the playlist too. i already loved this song before, of course, but this gave it a new meaning. i haven't read the book in a while, but it kinda reminds me of when she wakes up the morning after coming home from italy, and she thinks it can't be real and yeh, he's explaining he still loves her and all that... you know? | |

ok, so some people might get annoyed at me for saying this, but this is what the song means for me. for me, this song describes jacob's relationship with bella in new moon (second twilight book. sorry, but i had to). it's jacob singing to bella...
