| this song gave me closure to a relationship that i was holding on to. oneday i was listening to it and i suddenly remembered that when i last saw my ex he had put this song on a mix. a mix he was going to play on the ride back to the airport, but instead played it when he picked me up. it was the only song he really commented on saying "you like them right?", i should've said duh they're my fav band. did i really never tell him that? i didn't tell him a lot of things. i always held back. anyway i realized that he did care about me but knew it could never work. it also says a lot about him and what he was going through. he was finding himself starting a new life with new experiences away from home meaning he was alone. also how pessemistic i am. this song was his way of saying goodbye-in my eyes. it is one of my fav 3eb songs. it is part of a common theme found in their tracks-loving someone who has emotional problems. caught up in a world of pain not being able to see the glass as half full. those ppl are the third eye blind. | |
