"Code monkey" is a term for somebody who churns out code for a living but is unable to do the more complex tasks surrounding the overall design process. So this song is somewhat of an ode to these gentle creatures who, really, are just like you and me. They may vomit simple code for their job, and they may not get the overall process, but they are human beings just like you and me, and they want a girlfriend just like you and me (unless you're also a girl (and not a lesbian)) |
