I love this song, when I was younger I used to play this album all the time and sing it. I just love this song, this album, and anything Rhett's ever done. Except for The Believer. I'm sorry, I really don't like The Believer. |

I can't believe this had never occurred to me before, but this song must sort of revolve around Ryan Adam's first band, Whiskeytown. With the chorus, 'Well it's bad luck and it's a hard luck story and I'm sorry I ain't sticking around' is for the song Hard Luck Story, and 'Well it's a sick world and sixteen days I got nightmares every night' is for the song 16 days. I had listened to this song so much, and I never noticed.
I love this song, I haven't listened to it much lately.
