I think this song is about being in a relationship or marriage that he does not want to be in anymore. However, is already to commited to leave because it will cause pain and hurt for the the one he cares for but just isn't in love with anymore. However, having the feeling's of wanting to be free he's already filled with sickness and desertion which he would have if he left. He doesn't know what to do or where to begin to come up with a solution and because there is no easy way out he's just waiting to die. Also, Im thinking he may be scared to end it because she could turn out being happier then him in the end and it would come back as he would feel sick & deserted. [A coma might feel better than this, Attempting to discover where to begin.] - Being stuck with no obvious solution to his problem and not knowing how to fix it, A coma would be the same situation with no feelings involved. | I see this song as being involved with something you always wanted but it's not what you expected when you get it. The grass is always greener on the other side type of deal. Being so involved in what you thought was what you wanted that you can't let it go and go to the other side because either way will cause you sadness. So why move? | |
