Zooropa---- the end of the song pretty much sums up his message Dream out loud! -- ignore the media messages and live your own dream, don't get caught up in the rat race. The song start with all the slogans, some common some foriegn, meaning none of are immune. And I have no compass And I have no map And I have no reasons No reasons to get back And I have no religion And I don't know what's what And I don't know the limit The limit of what we've got (all of this is just stating that he has reduced the limitations to his choices) The last part is saying don't follow the crowd, don't worry whatever choice you make is your choice... try no to be influenced by the vast majority. I love this song, it had a dirty sound.... when I think of this song I think this as a realization of the what is real and what is bullshit, Enlightenment so to speak. you get to feel so guilty got so much for so little then you find that feeling just won't go away (Taking Advantage of Others, manipulation) you're holding on to every little thing so tightly till there's nothing left for you anyway (Pointless Materialism) GOODBYE YOU CAN KEEP THIS SUIT OF LIGHTS ( So long, sell your hit else where) I'LL BE UP WITH THE SUN ANDNOTCOMINGDOWN...
