I love this song too. I'm wondering if this band is mislabeled because everything I have by them is labeled "The Automatic Automatic". Personally, I think this is a satire written about Generation Y, and how people think the "Myspace scene" is different from the "intellectual scene", which is different from the "indie scene", which is totally not the same as "emo". What you get is a watered down civilization in which no one really knows what anyone else is talking about, but everyone goes along with it to keep from appearing ignorant. |

This was the favourite song of my crew and I back in junior high. Now that we're all graduating I put it on a mixtape for all of them, some of them I haven't even seen since then. It's been pretty sentimental for all of us. It's about being with your friends and having fun. |
