i think this song is about life and the remorse that one may feel when they look back on their life. Its as if mjk looked back on his life and realized all the wrong that he had done. And heaven becomes hell. How can he make amends? His mom was a by the book Christian and until her death he completely against organized religion especially Christianity, and now he feels the regret now that Judith ( his mom) has died. "how you go about making your amends to the dead?" |

i dont know whats better his version or the original, lennons version felt like he wished for peace, this version feels darker, feels like he was singing directly to Bush, it feels as if this song is pointing out mankinds flaws

i agree with "cold flame" i think this song is saying even though members have left, that korn in general is still there to help you. I have heard many story's about korns music saving the lifes of others. the fans listen to korn because of JD, his emotional music touches everybody in one way or another, or you could just say that after listening to his lyrics i know that there are people that are worse off than i am, JD is simply saying that the ideal behind the music is still there. |
