so, basiacally. i think this song is about a girl who is popular (out of his league) and a guy whose not so popular but intellectually and personality wise way out of her league. (deep; in the song he's down at the bottom of the ocean.) shes shallower, and on land. get it? she likes him, he likes her, they're both torn by social classes and pressures 'Your depths made a pressure that punctured my works ' i think that that means that his personality put pressure on the social classes and status quoes and shredded all of the walls she'd put up towards everyone she was 'too good' for. they're separted by 'the ocean' which is the 'distance' as the song puts it, between there social status's. |
