i think he just wants to be able to just chill and not worry about anything. he wants to reminisce with his old friends and just get through life without all the stress of the world. it really helps one's perspective on life. |

i think this is actually pretty accurate to what Rise Against meant, because they are a very political band. A lot of their songs are political. But I think one could interpret it to suit a relationship or other experience they've had making them not necessarily wrong, just seeing things differently. For instance i can see how this could in fact be about a failing relationship. The guy doesn't want to change anything but recognizes that the relationship is going downhill so he is hoping for an answer or solution to this relationship. that's just a fun little side note though. 8) |
